Well, my friends, 2017 is over and now it’s time for a whole new year. I do not know about y’all, but 2017 was full of changes for me. I am no longer a teenager, I am a college graduate, I am living on my own now, and I have a full-time job. A lot has changed this year, and I am eager to see what 2018 has in store for me.
My favorite thing about New Years is getting to dress up for parties. This year I went with a more casual look. My sequin cami is from Express but I purchased it many seasons ago. I found a similar one at J. Crew. My sheer button up shirt is from Target, it is actually from the new clothing line “A New Day.” I have recently purchased a few pieces from this line and absolutely love them. I sized up in this shirt because I wanted to wear it with leggings. Sadly, Target has already sold out of the shirt so I found a similar one at Express to link for y’all. My leggings are from Old Navy, they have a faux leather panel on them as well as cotton fabric. I am again wearing my favorite black suede heeled booties. They are a statement piece in my fall/winter wardrobe. I completed my outfit with pearl necklaces that I layered.
