Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Thanksgiving is my second favorite holiday. My first is Christmas, of course. I love most of all the traditions of Thanksgiving.
In our family, we usually spend the morning cooking and we end up having a late lunch. This year’s Thanksgiving meant more to us than ever before. Last year we were consumed with my mom’s cancer battle that we did not have the time or energy to put together a Thanksgiving dinner. Thankfully we have some amazing people in our lives that invited us to their family’s Thanksgiving.
This Thanksgiving was different because it was the first year that both my brother and I were not living at home. So with that said, my mom decided that we need to each make one side dish for dinner. I made my favorite, green bean bundles, and Brett made macaroni and cheese. Like always, we had our deep-fried turkey, sweet potato casserole, stuffing, cranberry sauce, deviled eggs, and rolls. Of course, no Thanksgiving would be complete without my mom’s homemade apple pie. Sadly we did not have that this year. I’m still upset about that if you were wondering.
I also included some pictures of the pets on Thanksgiving. I would like everyone to meet Phoebe, our new kitten. My brother’s dog could not be with us this year, she is in doggie boot camp. She is supposed to graduate at the end of the month. We will see if she does.😂 Look at Sydney’s cute booty under the oven, she was desperate for food.
As always, I will link where to get my outfit. My sweater is from Francesca’s. It has the cutest accent of pearls on the ruffle sleeve. It is also so soft and comfy which I love. My jeans are from American Eagle Outfitters – no surprise, right? Like I’ve said before, their jeans are my favorites. My shoes are by Steve Madden. I will link one that is similar since I got these a few seasons ago.
