Hello, readers! I know what you’re thinking, “Yay! She’s back”. Sorry, it has been so long since I have written anything. I have been super busy lately.
This weekend, my mom and I took a little trip to Dallas to visit Courtney, Ben, and Sutter (you can also read about them on the blog “A Little Family Time.”) It was a much-needed break from my hectic summer schedule. We started our trip off at the Dallas World Aquarium. This was a great place to go. They had a great assortment of animals, birds and water creatures to see. After the aquarium, we went to a restaurant called “Zenna” to have some sushi. Fun fact about me, I LOVE sushi. We ended that day with relaxing back at Courtney and Ben’s house.
The next day we went to Ben’s grandparent’s house for some swimming and great burgers from the grill. Another fun fact about me, I LOVE swimming. After swimming, we went back to the house and my grandpa and his wife came over to have dinner with us. We also played the famous Ponder card game, Nertz, which is always fun. We ended that day by staying up way too late, like 2 a.m. late, just talking and catching up on life. On Sunday, we slept in and had a big breakfast before hitting the road. By lunch time, we were in Gun Barrel City, Texas at my Grandpa’s house. We spent the day there.
Monday it was back to reality. We went to the airport to catch our flight back to Amarillo. I have said it before and I will say it again, I love traveling but not as much as I love being at my house, and sleeping in my own bed.

Also, if you are needing some good luggage for traveling, be sure to check out Herschel’s products. Right now, I just have one of their backpacks and the black duffle bag. I highly recommend this brand to everyone not only for their quality but also for traveling in style.
